Update: Gerald’s Lot Will Be Coming 13th Instead of 8th

Sorry about the change up (really, really sorry!), but Gerald’s Lot will be coming the 13th instead of the 8th this month. Something’s come up that’s made it impossible for me to get the book out this week so I’ve picked the very next Monday, the 13th, for the revised release date.

I’ve only had to change an official release date for a book one other time as far as I can remember, but I’m going to have to do it.

I hope it’s not too much of an inconvenience and I’ll be back to post book info soon. :)

Also, for some reason WordPress has decided not to send me email notices for comments anymore, so I’m sorry it took so long to approve the comments on the last post! I have no idea what that’s about but hopefully it will get fixed soon.

Release Date for Gerald’s Lot! February 8

I can finally give a release date for Gerald’s Lot. It’s later than I’d hoped but I’m erring on the side of caution!

February 8, 2017

This one’s been a bit wild for me, taking a lot longer than usual for me to write. But it’s also been fun and I have to say it: I love Gerald. When you finally get to read his story, I hope you will too.

I can’t help but fall a bit in love with these guys every time I write a story. :)

I’m about to start on the next Wolves’ Heat book already and I’m actually very excited about that! It’ll be nice not to have such a long delay between this one and the next for anyone still following the series after such a long wait for Gerald’s Lot! :)

When Is Gerald’s Lot Coming?

So when is Gerald’s Lot coming? January 2017. I’d hoped for December but it’s just not going to happen unless there’s some kind of Christmas miracle around here, so I’m sorry about that!

However, barring some kind of true disaster, Gerald’s Lot will definitely be a January release, so there’s that!

As soon as the cover is ready and I have an official January release date, I’ll post them. :)

New Covers for the Hend & Yurt Series

I’ve got some new covers for the Hend & Yurt series! :D

The King's Guard (Hend & Yurt, Book 1) The Queen's Lover (Hend & Yurt # 3) The King's Gambit (Hend & Yurt, Book 2)) The King's Deception (Hend & Yurt, Book 3)

I’m really pleased with them, and I hope you like them as much as I do. They look a lot like fantasy covers, but that’d be because this is very much a fantasy series—except with gay men, yummy relationships, and lots of gay sex! ;) It’s very lighthearted for the most part, with a few bits of drama here and there, but I like it and think it’s really fun.

I’ve committed to replacing these this year, so I’ll be making these new ones live very soon. :)

And then there’s this one… :) Which says Book Four, but I’m not committed to that just yet, so I’m separating it here. I might have it say “A Hend & Yurt Novel” and save the numbered books for Leon and Geran. I mean, it’s definitely coming sometime after The King’s Deception, but it isn’t Leon and Geran centric. :D

The Mage's Mark (Hend & Yurt, Book 4)

My god. I just wish I could write faster. I have so many books I want to write!

Gay for Alex Is Available!

Gay for Alex is finally available! It’s not live everywhere yet, specifically Amazon (it is now!), but it’s available from several online stores already. :) I’ll be notifying the email list after a few more links come through (namely iBooks and Kobo).Gay for Alex

Available now at: Amazon | Barnes & Noble | Google Play | Apple | Smashwords | Amazon UK | Amazon AU | Amazon CA | Amazon DE

As usual, the most up-to-date list of links is going to be on the book’s dedicated page. :)

Gay for Alex

He’s marrying his best friend for money and revenge…

Dayton Royce’s grandfather seems determined to rule Dayton’s life even from the grave. The only way Dayton can get his hands on the inheritance that rightfully belongs to him is to marry before his twenty-fifth birthday. If he doesn’t, he’ll lose it all.

But Dayton’s never been good at following orders, and he has no intention of bowing to his grandfather’s dictates. Dayton’s found a way to get what’s his and give his grandfather the middle finger one last time: he’s going to marry his best friend, Alex, instead of one of the girls his grandfather wanted him to marry.

It should be the perfect revenge.

What it turns out to be is complicated, because Dayton never has known how to quit while he’s ahead…

I’m not going to pretend I’m not very nervous about this book, because I really am! Contemporary romance isn’t my usual thing, even though I love these kinds of stories. I can’t help it, but I am fascinated by marriages of convenience and all their possible complications (the Hend & Yurt series is one result of that fascination! I cannot wait until I finally get to write the story I have in mind for Yohan and Rand). :D I also have a real soft spot for gay for you stories. So when I had the idea for this book a few years ago, I couldn’t pass up writing it—even though it has taken me a really long time to get it done.

Anyway, if you pick up a copy of Gay for Alex, I sincerely hope you enjoy it as much as I have. And seriously, let me know if you want more of these. I really have no idea if anyone cares if I write more in this world or just kind of move on, so definitely comment if you do want more. :)

Coming October 28, Gay for Alex!

**Yeah, it’s going to be late in the day before it’s live. I’m probably the only one surprised by this.**

Gay for Alex is finally coming on October 28. I had hoped for the 20th, then thought maybe the 25th, but nope. The 28th it is. :D But finally!Gay for Alex

I can’t believe I wrote a contemporary story without paranormal elements. That kind of setting is so hard for me. I love science fiction and fantasy, and mixing it up with the male/male romance I love is just my favorite thing in the world. But I had this idea and I really wanted to write it. Gay for Alex is totally just male/male contemporary romance—with nary a paranormal, science fiction, or fantasy element in sight. :o

The book turned out nothing like I thought it would turn out when I started it, but I love it anyway. I adore Dayton and Alex so much that it’s embarrassing. :D

Anyway, I’ll be getting the description up soon and a new updated cover image (the old one I mocked up was for the “Gay for You” title I didn’t end up with).

I hope there’s interest in this one when all’s said and done, because I’d really like to revisit this world—and these guys! I already know exactly who’ll be in the next book if I get to write it. :)

Ideas for a Redesign of the Wolves’ Heat Book Covers

I’m playing with the idea of a redesign for the covers for the Wolves’ Heat series. But… I kind of like the style of the current covers, without people on them. Then again, I really like handsome fellas on books covers, because it’s possible I’m a bit shallow like that even though I try not to be. There’s just something about a man’s body that really attracts my eye… ;)

So, here are a few ideas I’ve got for Ian’s Choice, Devon’s Gamble, & Brendan’s Fate. I’m just not settled on the idea and I really need to be because I have to decide before next month when I’m planning to get Gerald’s Lot out and that cover needs to be done ASAP.

THESE ARE SAMPLES ONLY. Definitely not ready for distribution anywhere but here. :)

Some of the text is identical, when it definitely shouldn’t be.

Feeling any love for these? Prefer the way things are? Feel free to let me know in the comments. :)

Of Monsters and Love Hit the All Romance Bestseller List

I got an email from All Romance this morning, saying Of Monsters and Love has hit the Allromance.com Bestseller List. It was a very nice way to start my Sunday morning.

Of Monsters and Love (New Canton Republic, #5)

I ended up really loving Agg and Rafe and I hope some of you have enjoyed their story. :)

In other news, still busy getting Gay for Alex ready for later this month. I’ve set the tentative date for release to October 25 and I’m feeling pretty good about it! I’m getting excited! This book has been so fun for me. I just adore Dayton and Alex and I’m really hoping some of you will really like them too. :)

Of Monsters and Love Is Available!

Not much else to say! :)

Of Monsters and Love is finally live in several ebook stores and is on the way to several others. :D I’m so happy to finally have this out there! I’m also really sorry I’m not better at estimating release dates! Everyone who has had patience with me: thank you from the bottom of my heart!

As usual, the most up-to-date list of links to the book will be on the book’s page, but here are those that are already working.

Of Monsters and Love (New Canton Republic, #5)Of Monsters and Love (A New Canton Republic Novel)

Rafe doesn’t have much respect for magic, not when the only people who seem to have enough of it to matter are either out to get him or want to use him and his hard-learned skills for their own profit.

But Rafe has a problem: he’s made a friend he can’t get rid of—a massive oceandog with wicked sharp teeth and a jealous streak—and the tiny bit of pheromonal magic Rafe’s never had to learn to control is starting to get the best of him.

Something’s wrong, and he doesn’t know what it is—and he sure doesn’t know how to fix it.

But his new friend knows… and that’s all it’s going to take to change Rafe’s life forever. Because monsters don’t always hide under the bed. Sometimes they’re a man’s best friend…

Of Monsters and Love is a new story set in the New Canton Republic, where magic is determined to put an end to the ages old conflict between humans and the aliens who share their world…

While I’ve got your eyeballs, let me say Gay for Alex is still coming this month, as long as nothing crazy happens. ;) That’s one book that did not go the way I thought it would. I set out to write something really light and humorous (like the New Canton books) and ended up with something much more drama-y (like the Wolves’ Heat books)! I think. Maybe I’m not the best judge. Still, I really like the story and the way it’s turned out. So anyone waiting for that one—I did not forget about it, and it’s finally, actually, really just about here. :D

I feel like I’m forgetting something important, but holy crap, I’m tired, so I’m just going to leave it there until I have some more links to update in the morning.

Of Monsters and Love Is Coming Today!

Update! The release date is going to end up being the 11th because I suck at estimating how long it takes me to do anything and that’s the soonest it’s going to actually go live anywhere. If you’ve been visiting my blog much at all for info on releases, you’ll know that I’m the worst when it comes to time estimates. I ought not even do them, but I always feel like it’d be nice to put something up about when the next book is coming! This one is coming, I promise, but I was obviously off by a day. I just wanted to put that out here in case you were about to go looking for the book.

Of Monsters and Love will release today! That’s the good news. :) The less good news is that it’ll be a bit late in the day, and it’ll probably take a bit longer to become live on the Amazon stores, so that’s a bit of a bummer. On the other hand, the book is finally coming, today, and I’m so excited to share Rafe and Agg’s story, because I love them!

I love all the guys in all my books, so I’m not the best judge but I particularly like Agg in this one. :D Also, some familiar faces show up and that’s always good too. I love when that happens. :)
