I put up two new episodes of Mage in Love this week! Episode 27: “Sparks” and Episode 28: “Enough” are available to read now on Laterpress.

Episode 27 is available now on Kindle Vella, and episode 28 should be available soon.

In “Sparks” and “Enough,” the negotiation continues, sparks fly, and enough is enough…or is it? ;)

This is an enemies to lovers story, and it’s a tie-in story to the New Canton Republic series. I’ve been throwing out some hints about that connection in some of the latest episodes, but even if you miss them, it’ll all come together in the end. :D

Since a recent change at Kindle Vella, the first TEN episodes of Mage in Love are now free to read on Kindle Vella. If you’ve been thinking of giving it a try, this is a good time. :)

The story is coming along nicely and it’s picking up a little steam ;), and I foresee regular updates now until it’s completed.

Of course, you’re still welcome to buy access from me and read on Laterpress instead, but this is a good opportunity to get a bigger sample and read more chapters if you haven’t made up your mind about reading it. :)

Chapters, episodes, it’s all the same to me. :D I try to be clear that I’m using the terms interchangeably for this story but just in case, an episode is a chapter and a chapter is an episode. :)

Cam and Rick Play Dirty (a.k.a. Bel and Reed’s Long Night) Is a New Wolves’ Heat Short Story!

This story, I don’t even know where to start. Cam and Rick Play Dirty (a.k.a. Bel and Reed’s Long Night) was supposed to be “Claw” in the After the Heat collection. Then I realized “Prick” was a much better title, so I wrote a different story that ended up being “Claw”, and I’m glad I did, because I really like what I ended up with.

But then this one went longer than I had planned for it to be, by a LOT. It became a story that’s commensurate in length with Devon and Kem Under the Mistletoe (a.k.a. Ian and Craig’s First Fight). It also felt like a different kind of story than those that are in the After the Heat collection, so there was that.

But making it a volume of the Wolves’ Heat Stories meant I needed a new title, because “Prick” is the title that most suits the fourth story in the After the Heat collection! Which also means I needed a new story to go with that title!

Whew.

All that to say, I settled on a title for this one, and I’ve added a cover, and it’s going up this week as an individually published short story in the Wolves’ Heat universe.

“Prick” will also be coming soon to the After the Heat: Wolves’ Heat Stories collection. It’s not the story it was, but it’s the story it was meant to be! :)

New Collection! The R’H’ani Chronicles Collection 2, Volumes 7–11

The R’H’ani Chronicles have grown from a few stories that I just had to write, to a fairly large set of stories set in New United R’H’ani, Ani’Hain, and the Great Isle of Ani.

As usual with this series, I really recommend you read these stories in order! So if you haven’t read the first six stories, pick up a copy of The R’H’ani Chronicles Collection 1, Volumes 1–6 and read it first. :)

I had hesitated to make a new collection since the stories have gotten progressively longer and I’ve already put out paperbacks for some of the novellas (and have paperbacks in the works for the others)! But a new collection means I can easily put another group of the novelettes into paperback, so I’ve gone ahead and done it.

The paperback will be ready later in September. The ebook is ready now! :D
